School starts soon

All is well in the Evans' household. Amelia is excited that school will be starting soon (Monday). I didn't expect her start at of Kindergarten at a public school to be so emotional for me. Amelia is a bit scared I think, but she's ready to go. We met the teacher and she seems really nice.

Emme's school doesn't start until after Labor day. She will be going to the same place as last year, the same school Amelia has been attending. She'll be going every day from 9 to 12:45p so that should help keep her busy. That will make the next two weeks tough because she'll feel left out while Amelia is at school similar to when Amelia was at Gymastics camp this summer. Amelia will be continuing gymnastics once per week. Emme chose to become a ballerina instead. She is soooo cute in her pink leotard. There is some question whether they'll take her since she's not yet 3, but we'll see how she does. She is amazing on her toes. She can stand on point without shoes right on the floor!

Tristan and Amelia do very well together. Unfortunately Amelia antagonizes Emme often and Emme turns around and takes it out on Tristan. Kids! I forgot to mention that Emme is doing awesome in the pool and can hold her breath forever. She's still not great at picking up her head to catch a breath so she has been wearing a swim trainer since she's so risky without it often jumping in the pool when we're not looking. We bought a pool baby gate for the fall just to keep all the kiddos safe. Tristan does not like the pool one bit. Hopefully it'll be easier with him next year!
